There's Always Hope!
There’s Still Hope | Charlotte, is a Trans-led, fiscally sponsored 501 (c3) nonprofit organization that provides transitional housing to eligible individuals. Our program is specifically for Transgender adults experiencing homelessness to address the specific needs of this community. We do not provide emergency shelter. In order to be considered for the transitional housing program, applicants must meet four criteria:
Identify as Transgender or Gender Non-binary
Be 24 years of age or above
Experiencing homelessness in Charlotte, NC
Have or obtain a current State issued photo ID before entering into the program
Eligible individuals seeking assistance must submit an Application for Assistance here. If space is available, interviews will be scheduled at the beginning of the month. Acceptance into the program is based on availability and will be determined at the sole discretion of There’s Still Hope | Charlotte. For individuals who wish to seek community based services in Mecklenburg County that do not meet the above criteria, please visit: https://css.charmeck.org or www.mecknc.gov for a list of County resources and community programs.
We are immensely grateful for you and for your continued recommendation of There’s Still Hope | Charlotte’s transitional housing program to our most vulnerable residents. Together, we will fulfill our vision to help people live in a community where all families have a place to call home and "NO ONE" spends a night without shelter.
