We provide a Transitional Housing Program to qualified
Homeless Transgender Adults - ages 24 and above.
Through our Steps to Stability Program; we help to facilitate the movement from transitional assistance to permanent housing for the individual who are willing and able to work towards self-sufficiency; by providing shelter and other services that may include meals, laundry assistance, metro passes, and counseling, employment, substance abuse and referrals with outside services.
"One in five transgender people have been homeless at some point in their lives and unfortunately, no matter what circumstances led to their homelessness, eviction, foreclosure, unemployment, addiction, mental illness, domestic violence - being homeless for many Transgender adults and victims of domestic violence, especially for women of color, sadly continues to be a very difficult and dangerous situation to be in."

Inspiring Hope by our Actions!
I met Mallory in 2019, just taking her afternoon stroll through Romare Bearden park. She's been living on Charlotte's streets off and on for over seventeen years. As she tells it "Life keeps ignoring me!" A native of the Queen city.
