Mission &Vision

Our Mission: is to empower individuals experiencing homelessness by providing a safe space lodging, supportive services, and advocacy. helping them achieve self-sufficiency, working together with the community to foster a positive path forward.

Our Vision: Is to find and implement solutions to end homelessness and poverty among transgender and non-binary adults in our city. Our Core Values: Respect! We value, listen to, learn from and appreciate each other, our clients, our board, our donors and the citizens of our community.

We Offer

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Charlotte, NC, as well as Darlington and Florence, SC. We offer comprehensive services, including "how-to" workshops both in-person and online, to help you create a successful transitional housing program for Trans and Nonbinary adults experiencing homelessness. Mykal Shannon(He/Him)

Board Treasurer

Bishop | Advocate | Prophet | Author. Mykal is a retired law enforcement sergeant, who now resides in Asheboro, and he has been an activist representing a voice for marginalized communities and social injustices in the south, for more than 20 years. He is the Founding Pastor of Dynamic Faith Ministries, Inc.com., a ministry that focuses on providing a safe space for those who have felt ostracized in other religious entities. He lives his life by this mantra: #IChooseToBelieve

Lisa Dudzik (She/They)

Board Secretary

Lisa (she/they) is Communications & Engagement Manager for Diabetics Family Connection. A Midwestern military brat, who relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2018. After attaining their Masters degree, they taught sociology and women’s studies in Illinois, while running a small family business. Shon Keanu(They/Them)

Board Member

Assistant Professor at City University of New York | Writer/Director. Shon (They/Them) a non-binary New Yorker who writes and people learn to love and laugh while living with catastrophe - both real and imagined. A graduate of the Columbia University School of the Arts. School of the Arts, Shon has written a variety of award-winning screenplays including PANSY, a queer coming-of-age forbidden love story, which won the Emerging Narrative Screenplay Award at the Independent Feature Project, the Rhode Island Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
